Peter Scarselletti – Acupuncturist, Chinese Medicine Herbalist
Chronic and difficult to treat conditions | Fertility | Pregnancy | Female and male reproductive health | General health
Over his 19+ years as an acupuncturist and Chinese medicine doctor, Peter has become fascinated with chronic and difficult to treat conditions. Having worked in some of Sydney’s busiest fertility and pregnancy acupuncture clinics, Peter also has a strong focus on female and male reproductive health. Combining a strong skill set with his gentle acupuncture technique, Peter really was a great find for tonika health.
Since finishing his degree in 2004, Peter has studied many systems of acupuncture and has been most strongly influenced by various styles of Japanese acupuncture, classical and contemporary Chinese acupuncture, French auricular acupuncture and classical Chinese Medicine literature. He also has a strong focus on health optimisation, and a keen interest in the integration of acupuncture with the Chakra system.
Peter has extensive knowledge and interest in classical and contemporary Chinese herbal medicine prescription, dietary modification and supplementation, as well as contemporary physical and energetic detoxification protocols.
Peter has traveled the world extensively in an ongoing quest to keep learning and to gather skills and knowledge in unique healing techniques. For him, travel is a great vehicle to fulfil his passion for continual personal and professional development.
For instance, Peter volunteered as acupuncturist and mentor at Vajra Varahi Healthcare in Chapagaun / Nepal, providing acupuncture to up to 100 clients each week as well as training staff at a natural medicine health clinic constructed on the grounds of a Vajrayāna Buddhist Monastery.
Peter is also the founder of Qiology, one of Australia’s leading Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Continuing Professional Development providers, bringing high quality continuing professional development seminars and online training with international presenters to the profession since 2012. These courses help raising the standard of the Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine profession in Australia. And as a most welcome byproduct, this role has also given Peter the opportunity to train and spend time with some of the world’s most respected teachers and masters in the field.
In his spare time, apart from enjoying good food and high quality tea with family and friends, Peter focuses on his development in martial arts, internal energy cultivation techniques, fitness training, breath work and meditation, as well as continual study in the fields of BioGeometry, Vibrational Radiesthesia, Pranic Healing, and Esoteric Sciences. These endeavours also uniquely inform his skill set in clinical practice.
