Veronika began her journey in healthcare in 2015, studying both Eastern and Western approaches to natural health, completing a degree in acupuncture and Chinese medicine and additional studies in naturopathic medicine.
Veronika enjoys integrating traditional forms of medicine with the latest scientific research. This has allowed her to have a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology, nutrition, herbal medicine, supplementation, pathology and diagnostic tests. By bringing these aspects into her practice of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, Veronika achieves a balance between classical and modern, Eastern and Western paradigms.
Veronika’s treatment approach is focused on restoring the optimal function of the mind and body. She believes that health is the natural state of the body and that treatments should support the body’s innate healing processes. Veronika will alter her treatments based on the specific needs and goals of each client. Her treatments may include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, tuina (Chinese acupressure massage), cupping, gua sha and moxibustion. Veronika utilises a multifaceted approach, including lifestyle and dietary advice to help you achieve your optimal state of health.
Veronika has a keen interest in treating a variety of disorders. She often works with clients seeking assistance with pain management, musculoskeletal conditions, women’s health, fertility, stress and mood disorders, cosmetic acupuncture, and general health maintenance. No matter where you are on your healthcare journey, Veronika is happy to meet you where you are at, and work collaboratively with you to get you to where you want to be.
When Veronika is not treating patients, you will find her reading, bike riding, attending a pilates class, hiking and spending time in nature. Veronika also enjoys tending to her plants, pressing flowers, meditating, cooking and enjoying good food. She believes a holistic lifestyle approach is essential to maintain our well-being, and always strives to follow her own advice.
